Santiago Ramos is a journalist and Teaching Fellow at the Boston College Department of Philosophy, where he is pursuing doctoral studies. He has written reviews and essays for Commonweal, First Things, and the literary quarterly Image Journal. He is film and TV critic for The Catholic Key. He is an erstwhile blogger for “Good Letters,” the blog of Image Journal, and worked the art gallery beat for the Kansas City Village Voice Media publication, The Pitch. Santiago was born in Asunción, Paraguay, in 1984. He has lived in the United States since age 12, and graduated from Rockhurst University with a B.A. in philosophy and English in 2003.
