Carolyn Woo assumed the position of CEO and president of Catholic Relief Services in January 2012. Catholic Relief Services was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States to serve World War II survivors in Europe. Since then, it has expanded in size to reach more than 100 million people in nearly 100 countries on five continents. Before CRS, Dr. Woo served as the dean of the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to the University of Notre Dame, she served as Associate Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Purdue University.
