BENEDICT XVI/ Lebanon’s secret

Michael Cook

9/27/2012

According to MICHAEL COOK, of all Western leaders, only Benedict XVI has managed to find common ground with Muslims without sacrificing his own principles, as shown in his visit to Lebanon

The visit of Benedict XVI in Lebanon – 14 to 16 of September, 2012 – is to be considered one of the most meaningful, because the presence of the Holy Father will leave a witness of the possibility  to achieve peace even in this land full of conflicts. Also the strictly religious gestures have been of particular relevance, starting from the delivery of his Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation on the Middle East.
